I guess the only exception would be "Apologize" with OneRepublic as that sounds like a song by Ryan Tedder with a dash of Timbaland. But not just this, Timbaland has a very distinctive production sound that you can easily point out in a second. This can be heard all across his production in the late 90s and early 2000s in work from Aaliyah, Missy Elliott and Jay-Z to specific. It is very interesting to me, because he was essentially the producer who pioneered the stuttering kick-drum sound in urban and pop music. But putting those songs aside, when talking about important Hip-Hop, R&B and Pop producers, Timbaland seems to never be mentioned among them. I'm sure that the last time you heard the name Timbaland was probably somewhere around 2007-2010 when he had all those club hits everywhere like "The Way I Are", "Promiscuous" and "Carry Out".
